Legend of the Seeker : The Puppeteer
Have you watched Episode 9 of the Legend of the Seeker? I have watched it last week and here’s how the story goes:
Legend of the Seeker’s Episode 9 of Season 1 is entitled “The Puppeteer” because Zeddicus Zu’l Zorander or Zedd, for short, disguises himself as an entertainer to get Milena’s final box of Orden. Milena is an evil queen and box of Orden is said to be the third and the last box that if it falls to the hands of Darken Rahl, the magic of Orden will give him extreme power.
Zedd plans to get that box and replace it with a fake box. But how can he do it? The Darken Rahl will be the one to get the box from the Queen Milena.
In this episode, Kelabra have already delivered the second box of Orden to Darken Rahl.
Darken Rahl have ordered his emisery to send an agreement to Queen Milena that he will accept any demands of the Queen in exchange of the third box. He didn’t plan to crashed Queen Milena using her armies for he knows that once the third box was handed to him, the Queen’s demands will be meaningless.
If you will asked how Queen Milena got the third box, actually she inherited it a thousand years ago.
Zedd introduced himself as Ruben Rybnik, an entertainer – a grand puppeteer. He performs in front of Princess Violet,daughter of Queen Milena, and was hired after he the Princess was amazed on his talking sock. Princess Violet let him stay on her room where he met the Princess’ slave named “Rachel.” Zedd knew that the Princess has a key on the room where the box is located. So he challenge the Princess to wear the famous piece of Tramontana. He said that if she wear that,it will truly setup her beauty. He thought he could go with Princess Violet on that treasure room of Tamarang but the Princess told him to stay on her room. Zedd talked to Rachel and plans to use Rachel to achieve his goal. Rachel said that the box of Orden is the only thing that Princess Violet is not allowed to touch. She also said that the Princess never take out her key. Zedd supposed to give Rachel a magical wooden toy but the Princess came. The Princess ordered Rachel to go to Martha, her cook, for her food. Zedd followed Rachel. At that moment, Martha received the order of the Princess and because she was already bursting with anger, she said that something not good to the Princess which was heard by Queen Milena, who is standing at her back. She was supposed to be executed but because Zedd told the Queen that the Princess will be sad if she missed her food, Queen Milena, ordered her soldiers to released her and to continue the execution after the party. Queen Milena walked away and before Zedd went out from the kitchen he gave the wooden toy to Rachel. Rachel named it Sara.
In the woods, Richard and Kaylan saw Rahl’s armies. They killed the army and they were wondering why there were only few of them. They saw a book which contains Rahl’s words to the Queen. They have learned that Rahl will be the one to face Queen Milena to get the thrid box. Kaylan cut his hands for the blood will be used in order to put an advice on the book. They tricked Rahl. Rahl thought it was an advised from the Queen.
At midnight, since Rachel was sleeping outside the Princess room, she was shocked when the toy suddenly talks to her. The toy told her to get the key. She get the key while the Princcess is sleeping and gave it to Zedd.
Zedd finally got the box. He replaced the box with a fake one but the Princess woke up and there she saw Zedd on the treasure room. Zedd makes the Princess face full of warts. The Princess saw herr face in the mirror and he warns the Princess that if ever the Princess yelled for help, the warts will never be removed.
Zedd went to Rachel so that they can escape from the castle together with the third box of Orden but Rachel was thinking about Martha. She said that Martha has three children and if Martha will be killed after the party, her children will starved to death.
Zedd listened to Rachel but the moment they went outside the kitchen, Queen Milena saw him. Rachel hids on his back. Queen Milena ordered her guards to follow Zedd whereever he goes.
The next day, Richard and Kaylan, were ready to kill Rahl but Richard noticed that the one who is riding on the horse is just Rahl’s double. In the palace, Zedd already gave the box to Rachel and directed her to get outside from the castle. Rachel went to the kitchen to see Martha before she went away but the Princess arrived and noticed something on her back. Rachel was hiding the third box and she dropped it in the food which will be baked. Rachel then gave the wooden toy upon dropping the third box. The Princess threw the wooden toy in the fire but Martha immediately get it out from the fire. The Princess then ordered Martha to bake the cake.
Zedd was informed by Martha and Rachel that the box was baked and now inside the cake. They haven’t take the opportunity to take it out because the Princess wants the cake. Rahl is there and supposedly they will cut the cake but Zedd said that the Princess wants to be entertained first. The Princess almost freaked out but Zedd reminds about her warts. The Princess then said to have the puppet show first.
When all eyes were at the puppet shows, Martha cut the cake and gave it to Rachel immediately. Rachel runs fast. Rahl wants wants to end up the show wo that he can already have the third box. When he was about to lift the box he noticed that it was fake. Queen Milena was surprised as well for she never knew any magician who will turn the plain ordinary box to a third box of Orden. Rahl then remembered the puppeteer. Rahl ordered the soldiers to block the gate so that no one could escape.
Rachel was about to get out but the soldiers didn’t allow her. She then said that she was ordered by the Princess to get out. She reminds the soldier that if they disobeyed the Princess, their heads will be cut off. The soldier then allowed her to get out.
Meanwhile, Rahl finally face Zedd. Rahl said that the only one who could that kind of magic are the three wizards. Rahl said that first wizard have dies, the second one serves him, and the third one is Zeddicus Zu’l Zorander. Zedd laughed at him and he said that he was not actually defeated by a seeker but by the ten year old girl. Rahl bursted with anger and he get his sword and cut off Zedd’s neck.
In the woods, Rachel was chase by Rahl’s soldiers upon knowing that she has the box. Rachel then met Richard and Kahlan. Richard and Kaylan handed the third box.
Returning to the castle, Rahl thought that he already killed Zedd but what they got is a puppet. The puppet then said these words, ” I told you that I was a grant puppeteer…” Rahl yelled with fury.
In the woods, while Richard, Kahlan, and Rachel are walking, Sara talked. Rachel asked about Ruben then Zedd appeared with Martha. Zedd give the treasure necklace of Tramontana to Martha in order for her family to survive.
In the castle, Queen Milena apologized to Rahl but the moment Rahl kissed her hand, he cut it with a knife. Rahl said that he will make her daughter as a slave.
