The Duel : Online Summary
Presence of Michael was requested by chief financial officer David Wallace. Michael was no idea about that but he thinks that it is going to be bad news.
Andy was talking about his wedding with his fiancee, Angela, Michael was about to tell the truth when Jim interrupted and he guide Michael’s back to his room and locked it.
Andy actually haven’t discovered yet that Angela is having an affair with Dwight. That was seventeen days. I laughed when Jim said that Andy will discovered it once he saw their future kids having big heads and beast thing teeth.
The moment they gathered in the dining room to take a lunch, Michael said that he cannot really hide Angela and Dwight’s affair. He said that he will tell the truth to Andy but Dwight and the rest said that the revelation should be coming from Angela and not him.
Michael asked seriously if Dwight is still having intercourse with Angela. Dwight’s face is telling yes and Oscar asked the location. Dwight is trying to say that they are doing it in the office. I am really laughing hard this time. They were really serious but their words and facial expressions are funny.
Everytime Andy yelled, Dwight was always alarmed and afraid that he was already talking to him. He then put a spoon on his computer to check if Andy is already looking at him and suspecting him.
Dwight talked to Angela and wants Angela to tell the truth to Andy. He said that Angela should tell it to him if she really loves him. After they talke, he then went back to his seat when Michael asked if when will he be going to tell the truth. Andy suddenly heard it. He asked about their conversation but the three goes to Michael’s room and locked it. Dwight told Michael that Angela is not ready yet to reveal their affair.
Michael have already packed up for he was going to a meeting with Mr. Wallace. He went outside his room and told Andy that he wants to talk with him. Everyone is looking very keen and Angela stood up and very afraid. While Michael and Andy were walking outside, everyone is peeping through the window. Michael is actually going round and round and Andy doesn’t really know the sense of what Michael’s talking about. Michael then said that he was just not that articulate that day. He was on his car when he tell Andy that Angela is actually having an affair with someone. Andy was confused if Michael is really serious. Michael then answered … “YES!”
Dwight cannot make himself sit for he wants to be ready once Andy yelled at him. Andy then went back to the office and talked to Angela. They talked to each other in the conference room. Andy asked if Angela is sleeping with Dwight but she denies it. He forced her to answered his question and she finally tell the truth. He asked her about the people who knows about her affair with Dwight when Andy saw his co-employees looking at them.
Mr. Wallace is now branch is doing great and the sales is really doing great. Michael looks afraid now but Mr. Wallace asked about the things he is doing right because other branches were struggling. Michael’s face turns bright but his answer is going nowhere.
Going back to the office, Andy is now asking for the position of (you know). Angela said thatthey are not actually doing any fancy positions. I am really laughing hard. This time, Angela and Andy went out the room. Andy was thanking all his officemates for not telling him the truth. He was looking for Dwight when Dwight came in. Everyone is looking at them seriously. Woooo! Andy said that Angela’s relationship with Dwight is over but Andy doesn’t want to give up. Andy told him that Angela doesn’t love him. He also said that she is actually going to marry him. And this why the title is “Duel.” Andy challenged Dwight in a fight. Jim stopped them for it actually does concern to the work. Andy and Dwight decided to have the fight outside the office, at the parking lot at exactly 4pm. Angela agreed to accept the result of the fight. Andy said that he is going to use his bare hands while Dwight said that he is going to use his sword to cut off Andy’s bare hands.
At 4pm, Dwight is looking for Andy. he then saw a note hanging on the wall covered with vines. While he was reading, Andy is actually inside the car and planning to hit Dwight. Dwight was not aware that the car is on his back. Andy hits Dwight and wants Dwight to surrender. Jim interrupted but the two doesn’t want to stop. Then later on, Dwight find out that Angela is lying to him after Andy said that she had slept with him twice.
The two went back to the office with no words to say. Andy called to the cake shop and canceled the cake for their wedding. Dwight showed Angela how he puts the mini stuff that looks like him to the trash can.
